MRPL With a humble beginning of 3.69 MMTPA commissioned in March 1996, which was later expanded to 15 MMTPA with the commissioning of its third phase. The Refinery was conceived to maximize middle distillates, with the capability to process light to heavy and sour to sweet Crudes with 24 to 46 API gravity. MRPL's Refinery is capable of producing almost a full range of petroleum products like Naphtha, LPG, Motor Spirit, High-Speed Diesel, Kerosene, Aviation Turbine Fuel, Sulphur, Xylene, Bitumen along with Pet Coke and Polypropylene.

MRPL's 440 KTA Novolen gas-phase Polypropylene Plant using Zeigler Natta catalyst is capable of producing the complete range of homopolymer grades. The solvent-free gas phase process with dual (parallel) reactors is capable of making bimodal molecular weight distribution PP Grades, with low gel content enabling smooth processing at high line speed. MRPL polypropylene also exhibits some unique characteristics like an excellent lot to lot consistency, outstanding organoleptic characteristic, smooth processing, zero wastage etc.
